Brian Sell did not qualify for the 2004 Olympic team. He finished 13th and only the first 3 qualify. Nevertheless, it is a tremendous accomplishment to finish that high in national championship marathon. He's only 26 and very well could be in a better position to qualify in 2008.
Unfortunately we as a nation only pay attention to these athletes every 4 years. There will be many opportunities for him to win national championships and qualify for world championships.
