Its social status, if u wear paint and dress like a JackA$$ and yeal obestities at opposing players u must be a tough guys its a right of passage in high school, all go thru it, i mean come on where else do u get to paint up and scream and yell and carry on like a mad man, except the Marines just a joke. Its good PR. And now that the CC bball team is good again the DITCH is back out in full force. Just kidding pit folk.

Re: student sections
haha the ditch i kind of like that, im seriously thinking about changing the name. Crimson crush is right in the beginning half of the peopole in THE PIT came out just for social reasons, just as any student sections, but now we have kids who normally wouldnt cane about the game. Tonight we had almost 100 kids(93 at my last count) all dressed like hicks for the CH game, and every kid gasped at every foul and cheered every play. I was suprised at how many kids actually cared about the game. The game was kind of sad to tell you the truth (heights just barly broke double digits before the half) and the second half was the same way except with the Devils' JV squad running the floor. The PIT felt bad so we cheered for heights too. So student sections across the area cheer on. And i say who evr goes farther in playoffs weather it be the Devils, Crushers, Toppers, or the Rambelers. We should join forces and be called

Re: student sections
Voge, do u mean the UYZ has been embarrassing other teams because they're really good or do u mean they have been embarrassing to westmont because they're not a good student section? Just curious.

Re: student sections
Sounds like we got some haters on our hands here PITmaster. So could someone please show me another newspaper article that talks about another school's student section and their affect on the game, whether it be against Cambria Heights or any other school for that matter? Oh wait, why am I even asking this question, because I know there haven't been.
PITmaster, we are all witnesses.
