How many guys can you name that won an MVP award based on their great rebounding? One thing the large majority of MVP winners have in common is that they scored a lot of points. They had other skills, but rarely will you find an MVP that scores less than 20/game. 5 great individuals won't make a great team if they are all trying to MVP. They will make a great team if they are working towards the common goal of winning games.

Bill Russel won pretty much by just rebounding he only scored around 15 points per game but he averaged like 25 rebounds. And then you got Steve Nash he has won the last two MVP's and he only averages around 17 per game, and he might just be on pace to win his third staight MVP without having a championship to show for it. If he wins that would be more MVP awards than Magic and Bird and thats crazy.
