Post all 7-on-7 and summer camps here

Post by Athens/Cat »

we're already half way through summer i know, but i'm looking to get some idea of all the happenings with various teams these next 2 months. It seems like summer activities have exploded in the last few years and its tough to keep track of where everyone is going.

sweet thanks!

I know there is a 7 on 7 Tournament this weekend at Mansion Park. Coach John Franco organized it, and there are a bunch of teams attending. I do believe I read in the Altoona Mirror that Steve Tanneyhill is even bringing a team up from South Carolina, although I do not know if he still is or not.

JULY 28th 7-on-7 camp at Corry Area. I believe they are having 24 teams from Districts 10, 9, 7, 6 and a few from NY.

Richland is sponsoring a 7-on-7 and Big Man Challenge this Saturday, July 28th, at Herlinger Field. Starts at 9 am and has 16+ teams signed up to participate. Usually a very spirited competition.

yep, tentatively scheduled to be test broadcasting the quarterfinals (1:30pm) to the finals of richland's 7-on-7 tommorrow. Should be a good first peek into this years competition. We'll be broadcasting through our site if interested as well as interviews from various players (not sure if that will be live yet tho or not)
