If he does I'd be surprised if he makes it out of the 4th round.Eaglealum wrote:Fsu kicker Aguayo considering it too.

Re: NFL Draft 2015
1. Tampa - mariota (and I don't see that changing between now and draft day)
2. Tennessee - randy Gregory (fact of the matter is, mete verger could be the future, he's a building block type of qb that can only get better. Tennessee is in sore need of a pass rusher, so Gregory is the perfect fit)
3. Jacksonville - Leonard Williams (I'm kind of torn here, jacksonvilles front seven is basically garbage. There front seven ranks right up there with the Ravens secondary as worst positional units in the NFL, but they could surprise me and pick up a lineman)
4. Oakland - devante Parker ( I'm more of an Amari fan but it's so clear to me who will do better on Sunday's. Parker has the size, speed and hands of a #1 guy. He sort of reminds me of Larry Fitzgerald)
5. Washington - If Jacksonville doesn't surprise the world then I'm almost positive Andrus Peat will go here (the biggest problem in Washington is there offensive line, they just cannot protect. This has garnered a great domino effect and host of problems including injury. This is a longshot, but I'm not ruling out them taking Winston if he declares. They have shown absolutely no confidence in RG3 and colt does not have the favor, just saying don't be surprised)
That's my top 5 mock draft. Let me know what ya'll think and if you wanna see the rest

Re: NFL Draft 2015
Aoki, you down on Winston? I'm not his biggest fan either but most have him going top 2 and I'm not sure if Tenn will risk passing on him when Mettenberger is their #1. Although Gregory and Williams are good players, I don't see either of them changing a franchise like Winston potentially could. Also, I see no way Parker goes that high, ahead of Cooper.
Re: NFL Draft 2015
I'm not necessarily down on Winston, I just don't believe Tennessee is going to pull the trigger. Mitten ether did not perform badly this year. He didn't by any means perform at a level we should deem great. But he instilled enough confidence to give himself a worthy case.
And let's talk hypothetical. Winston is the definition of sophomore slump, he's inconsistent, erratic and he's very uncalm. You see FSU coming from behind every game, good for them, you can't as a quarterback let your team go down like that in the NFL or you will get slaughtered week in week out. Winston, although a fearless and highly skilled player, is not ready for the NFL. I believe he'd benefit greatly if he stayed another season at the collegiate level. Work on mechanics, his pocket prescence, and some other technicalities to become a better passer.
Parker absolutely goes over Cooper in my eyes. Parker is bigger and faster. Although Parker is kind of injury prone I believe he is more durable than cooper. Look at Parkers stats, 850 yards? 43 receptions? That's really good, but oh that's right he missed the first 7 games and the games he did play in he wasn't a 100%.
Parker reminds me of Fitzgerald, I think he will make an immediate impact in the NFL, no doubt in my mind if he gets drafted by Oakland he is their number 1 guy. Cooper on the other hand reminds me of Percy Harvin, he has a smaller frame, more delicate body but dangerous and more playmaker esque. I honestly think cooper will end up in Minnesota. He will be integrated slowly and used as a tool to enhance teddy bridgewaters production.

I think when it's all said and done Winston is going to pass up Mariota. I wouldn't ever want a team I liked to take Winston but I think he's just more naturally gifted.

Re: NFL Draft 2015
Thought for sure FSU PK Roberto Aguayo would declare. Likely would have been a 3rd or 4th round pick.

Re: NFL Draft 2015
Winston is a better athlete than mariota. If anyone is going to draft the oregon qb #1 they are making the biggest draft mistake since greg oden! The guy can not produce in the redzone and thats where it matters most in NFL

Mariota is a better athlete, but Winston is a better QB in my opinion.
