I'm still not sure how we managed to beat you guys last year in that trimeet with NBC. We ran away with it 90.5 for us, 60 for Everett, and 37.5 for NBC. That day was insane....the conditions were horrible, but sometimes miracles DO happen! lol I'm sure Natalie and Steph will be missed greatly this year. Natalie was so versatile and Steph was just WOW. I'd never seen a girl run like that.

Just curious, but who are these girls that might not be going out for track this year?

From what I heard it's just a rumor about Woy and Williams, but I could be wrong. I'll have to check on that one. I have also heard that there may be some other girls coming out for it this year, but I am unsure about that as well. We still have some good girls on the team. I'm not sure how we will do about winning track meets, but winning individual events is probably a given for a few because we have some good determined girls that can't stand to see a loss. Good luck to everyone this year.

I hope Woy and Williams are coming out this year. It was bad to lose Steph and Nat and we need all the girls we can get. The boys adding some didn't take much- they were pretty small last year. Only five or six guys in distance, and three in throws, I think. Foy should be solid in distance, and so should Laura Northcraft.
I have no clue about sprints/jumps. Lefty, help me out with sprinters/jumpers?

well for jumpers if we dont have woy i dont think we will have any triple jumpers. i can jump a pretty decent number but nothing great. our boys still have hillenbrand but they are losing hayes for high jump. and again i am an okay high jumper but nothing that will be to the talent that dell had.

for our 4x1 if we lose woy it will hard. but we still have sarah cessna, and myself. and again its sarah and i for the 100 dash.

williams was a nice contribution to our 200, as well as cessna. for the boys they wont have kyle clark which could be hard for 200 wins.

for 400 we still have weaver who placed 2nd to dell numberous times so her future in it is looking good. but the 400 relay could suffer without dell

Supposedly, Woy is jumping. And if I can remember right, Dell only ran the 4x4 relay a few times last year. She only ran it for the big meets, but she didn't run it at Districts. She didn't run it that much. That relay was so screwed up last year because we had so many good runners for that event and we didn't have just one set team. I believe that if there was one set 4x4 team it possibly could have been a better relay team than what it was last year. And as much as the other Weaver hates running the 800, she could never let that event go. She is so strong and competitive that she can't let anyone take her spot or position. Durr and Cessna are pretty good sprinters too. It's gonna be tough for the girls this year, but i think if they find the right people with a tough and determined working ethic, they could do ok. I'm not too sure how the boys will do this year.

oh i remember now EHS, that 4x4 was crazy! i think they will be fine this year so long as the same girls show the interest they did last year.
