It’s the same argument that always gets everyone nowhere. BC and BG are top 3 in the LHAC every single year that is made up of all AAA, AAAA, and AAAAA other than the Bishops. They then go destroy A and AA in the playoffs. Are all those teams not playoff worthy or are they what an A and AA team should look like?  Usually one pretty good player, a couple of decent players then role players with no depth on the bench due to not have many kids in the school.

Don’t know if you include BC in “destroying” A teams. They’ve only won like what? 1 d6 championship since it moved to 6 classes and that was last year? Also JV and Saint Joes can provide challenging games in A with them so It’ll still be competitive between them 3. St Joes actually beat BC early in the season so JV and BC Is gonna be a good one I’m assuming. BG though is a different story. They are far above the AA field this year, it could be because all the teams are having down years, but nobody in this field develops and reloads like BG. Their young guys are started early and play travel ball too. With the younger Ruggery and Co. they’ll run D6 AA for years to come unless someone can actually challenge them. But I wouldn’t say the same for BC

Well you just described Bishop McCort’s 2018-19  boys basketball team.

Well this is only the 3rd season, they didn’t the first year. But won last year and are the favorites this year. That’s 2/3 with being the favorite next year as well without playing any games. I’d say most teams don’t reload that quickly, at least to win 3 consecutive district titles. And this doesn’t count their success in the 4 class years.

The first year they don’t even make the consolation game, second year they were challenged to a title and then this year. I’m not sure if BC should be the favorite. It’s a toss up honestly in my opinion. If JV shows up and plays the way they did in the second half of the Saint Joes game. (Also JV beat St Joes on their floor, where BC lost early in the season). It’s gonna be a great game which I could honestly see JV pulling out or BC. I was just astounded by FunFacts saying that BC goes and blows out the A teams which just isn’t true.

If you go back through the years, BC has played for the championship 8 of the last 9 years. No other team has been there more than twice over that time. That's pretty dominate. No they aren't the team they were about 4 years ago when they won the district champship by 31 points, but I was just talking in general.

There's plenty of debate on that. Ruggery, Rigby, Paola, Instone, Burke, McDannel are all really good. And I'm sure I'm missing a few. Only thing Collins proved tonight is that he's a really good free throw shooter

Paola is a good argument but take each one of these players off their team and see where they would be. Collins has a team full of football players/baseball players and don’t play basketball year round. Collins supporting cast isn’t as good as the rest of those you mentioned
