As long as the singlet says “Bishop McCort”, it’s still a team sport!

So the rumor at D5 Saturday was that they will petition to go AAA (which is what they should have been from day one). It's amazing though, they lost 3 cort battles and still post every day on twitter to get sympathy for them. And there have been 'burn the ships' sightings on twitter, so obviously they learned nothing.

these guys just don't stop on twitter, do they? On one hand they say they are 'over' the PIAA ruling, but have been posting every single day about getting their season back, and getting screwed by PIAA. Look, we all know you wake up at 4:55 to workout (just like hundreds of kids that have been doing this quietly for dozens of years), but save the woe-is-me twitter posts. If the coaches room at d5 was any indication, you have zero fans in the surrounding areas supporting you.

Agreed. The adults talk all over social media and sound/conduct themselves similar to 13 year old boys. They use “haters” as their prime vocabulary go to. They blame all others for their terrible judgement, lack of sound decision making, incompetence, and shoddy attempts at trying to circumvent the system and rules. Then they deflect all accountability and responsibility onto the “haters” around them. Blah blah blah it’s because people in D6 are just haters. Then blah blah blah it’s just the whole PIAA that are haters. Then blah blah blah it’s the Supreme Courts that are the haters. It’s so laughable the attempts they have gone to to try and salvage their total mishandling of the situations, blatant recruiting violations, and hilarious attempts by egocentric dads and moms to try and vicariously “dominate” at a youth level. Zero sympathy for those families that knew exactly what they were doing. Zero sympathy for a totally negligent and inept administration at Bishop McCort. Those parents and the administrators who turned a blind eye to the ridiculous process of blatant recruiting (all in the hopes of having a few good years of wrestlers to try and shine light at a district that has already faced sanctions for doing things the wrong way) are the ones to blame for the mess that has been created. Shame on them as they left many kids in the wakes of their greed and need to feel relevant and important. The only people “standing with” and “supporting” this group are people from far far away that do not realize the drama and trouble that has followed these groups for years and only hear the filtered stories that are put out on social media by these groups. The single common denominator has been the collective efforts of a shamed coach, the administration, or lack there of, and the families that enjoy the Kool-aid. They support the business of the coach, they promote like Don King did, they failed at cheating, they fought it and lost on every possible level thus far. They’ve tried to drag true men through the dirt with ridiculous claims and even failed at that. The epitome of ZERO CLASS. Narcissism personified.

LVCoachFoust wrote: February 11th, 2022, 10:39 pm In the end, the only ones that are losing out are the kids. Wrestling isn't a team sport anyway.....its an individual sport....whoever wins the PIAA State Championship in 2023 at Bo Bassetts weight should have an asterisk by their name in the record books....they didn't win because they were the best, they won because adults protected from wrestling the best....it's actually sad....suspend the team from duals, but let them wrestle individually.....
What a ridiculous sentiment. You are all about touting to let the kids compete and so on. You are all for not punishing the kids. However, you are ignorant enough to try and discredit student athletes that might win a state championship legitimately. How about whoever wins the state championship at anytime is The State Champion, no asterisk ever, as they beat everyone they had to. If someone is not there due to injury, DQ, ineligibility, dumb decisions, terrible oversight by school district administration (completely off the top of my head), etc., then that has NOTHING to do with the actions of any of the other wrestlers that are there on their own merits and abilities. Therefore they are champs whether they are who you had in your mind or hopes that would win. Last time I checked, the group you seem to be so enamored with has “0” state championships at the high school level. All we have heard about in the years leading up to this has been how multiple kids would be a lock for 4 time champions. None have won yet. HS is another ballpark and as we have seen, HS and PIAA competition has rules and by-laws that must be followed to even give your wrestlers a chance. The school, coaches, and parents are the ones to blame here. Drama and ridiculous behavior has followed this group from place to place. It is always the fault of others and “haters” and blah blah. The adults never take any ownership for their behavior, lack of judgement, and dream-weaving vicarious behavior.
Don’t try to downplay the achievements of future athletes that earn their hardware. Your kid-first attitude and mindset you portray is counterintuitive to how you try to minimize and discredit the works of other kids due to things they have no part in. You can’t have it both ways.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^LVCoachFoust. Great work trying to discredit high school athletes for your ridiculously enamored investment in a certain kid’s career. I hope the coach part of your name is just a monicker, because with that mindset, it would be a shame to have you molding youth sports in any facet.

If the coach is suspended from the high school team, why is he allowed to coach the Junior High wrestlers? Are there no adults in charge at BM?

It’s a joke of an administration with no oversight and accountability to hold any individuals accountable. Thus, the previous trouble the wrestling program was in years ago, the current mess the program sits upon, and the countless issues and allegations the hockey program has had recently. The admin and school directors have no ethics or care. It’s all about success at any costs. No worries about how they get there. The wrestling program especially is a complete joke, stain, and it is that way without ever even beginning their season. It is completely ridiculous that Smith stand by and says he supports him even after every court and group has said they have done countless things wrong. The area outside their kool aid bubble knows how ridiculous and self serving this current group is. Bassett has had nothing but drama with every stop and position he has held. Laughingstock doesn’t even do it all justice.
