Are we going to sue the ski club advisors for an injury that occurs in ski club too.
Do you really believe a kid knows the true risks of playing football if they have no experience? That's what the Leaders Of Young Men™️ are supposed to be for.

There's a good reason why the military recruits 17 year olds and not 25 year olds. They are naive and do what they're told.
17 year olds are less prone to injury and are not yet major contributors to society. It’s not because they’re more naive

If you are training consistently, most men are stronger and in better shape in their early to mid 20s than as a teenage kid. The difference is that kids are naive, not mature thinkers, and will do what they're told as long as an authority figure intimidates them enough. The older you get, the more questions you ask, and the less useful you are to the infantry (or other similar grunt) cause. Obviously the psychology of getting kids to join is far more sophisticated than that, but certainly isn't a fear of injury.

Your point about not being significant contributers to society is a true one, but also is exploited. I'm not anti-military, but their tactics are not as simple as you describe.

This section with Huntington - Tyrone - BG - Central - Bellwood. What will these teams look like next fall? All have starters back? Projected BG as the favorite?

Central loses a ton to graduation. Hoenstine and every starting skill player aside from HB/LB Hunter Smith. It will be a different Dragon team next year for sure.
