Good old Forest Hills vs Tyrone. The match-up I was most excited about when we switched to the LHAC.

Not feeling good about it, not used to playing on grass, and under less than optimum conditions. Has to favor the home team.

Late October and upper 60’s Friday is pretty good conditions to me. And I doubt any of the fire companies will drown the field prior to game time 😆

John Franco's shoes still haven't dried from that mud bowl in Sidman years ago

By the looks of MaxPreps, the rest of the schedule is:
Central Cambria at Penns Valley
Bedford at Bishop Guilfoyle
McCort-Carroll at Philipsburg
Somerset at Bellefonte
Westmont at Huntingdon
Johnstown at Bellwood

Was that the game where Gummo missed the extra point at games end which would have sent the game into overtime?

You have the right game. But Gummo was gone. Clayton Ellenberger was the kicker.

I don't know if I have ever seen worse field conditions.

Tyrone made a great comeback late in that game to make the score, I think, 36-35. With all the momentum, Franco chose not to go for 2, but instead went for the tie. The extra point was no good.
