Mighty mites
What small stature players have been memorable over the years. Fochtman from Berlin, is a memorable one for me
Just wondered who else played bigger than their physical size

Dane Domonkos, played at a McCort and then had a good career at Saint Francis as a WR. Not too often you see a 5’7” wide out at that level.

Way back in 1988, the first year of state playoffs, Bradford had a 5’5” guard lined up opposite Aliquippa’s Sean Gilbert. That kid is my nominee.

Probably known more for basketball, but Imil Britt was pretty short but a solid football player.
Re: Mighty mites
Chad Schilling (RIP) played a lot bigger than he was at BC. Small back with speed but saw him truck a defensive back on multiple occasions like he was a 230 lb fullback. Seeing him in street clothes was a surprise.
Re: Mighty mites
Artie Moss Jr., 140# defensive end @ FH. Seemingly long arms and good wrestling skills led to many sacks and negative yds. for runners & Qb's.
It ain't over until it's over.
