Seems like Doc Lombardi is all for privates. Makes sense why he lets them get away with anything.
Public kids all are from the same area, it’s not fair

This should have happened along time ago. My only fear is they open up and allow them to recruit. Then we might lose more kids.
I was telling my friend today, Dr Lombardo knows the private schools have the best programs and if they were to start their own league the PIAA could suffer. It would be like watching D3/NAIA vs D1 in some sports.

This is classic, especially when Bald Eagle Area has wrestlers on their team from different states. They had transfers for decades move into their wrestling program. I guess they don’t want to talk about the family from Louisiana, Maryland etc on their team. Sounds like some of the D5 people. Throw stones at private schools but schools around here have as many transfersold school wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 4:15 pm Local AD to advocate for state legislation calling for change to PIAA playoff format

I really hate this argument. It's a separate argument. If someone is physically moving from out of state, sounds completely legal. Maybe for the wrong reasons, but within the rules. Put the straw man away.
This shouldn't even be brought into the conversation since its taking away from the main issue of the advantage privates have over publics. This must be addressed first as the much larger problem.
1A Public
2A Public
3A Public
4A Public
Low Level Private
High Level Private
