2025 ICC Football Preview

NORTH PREDICTED ORDER OF FINISH

1. Mount Union
2. Juniata Valley
3. Claysburg
4. Moshannon Valley
5. Glendale
6. Southern Huntingdon
7. West Branch
8. Curwensville

Mt. Union is the class of this division. Other publications (Mirror Blitz) have CK at the top of this division but I think they are the team that could fall the furtherest down the ladder from among the top 3. The Bulldogs will go as far as their QB, Campagna, can take them. Nasir Collins (5'9 180 JR) who had 1,800 yards rushing last year is the premier player to watch in this division. Look for Glendale as a team that could surprise and challenge to get in the top 3. This is the weaker of the two divisions as evidenced by Everett (the cellar dwellar in the south last year) having beat 1-loss CK and Mo Valley last year in crossover games. 5-6 teams in the North would pretty much be guaranteed to be at the bottom if they were in the South. Not saying that won't change over time but it's the way things align in this league currently.

SOUTH PREDICTED ORDER OF FINISH

1. Windber
2. Meyersdale
3. Berlin
4. Northern Bedford
5. Everett
6. Tussey Mountain
7. North Star

The South is much more difficult to predict and much deeper than the North Division. Any of the top 4 teams could win this division and any of the bottom 3 could end up as high as 3rd or 4th at seasons end. Jakoby Harman (5'10 190 SR) was just under 2,000 yards last season and if he gets any kind of help from his line and a little bit more out of the passing game to keep things balanced, the Warriors could be the team that surges this year. Things should be very competitive in this division again this year and expect that there will be upsets.

Week One Crossover predictions

Take the South teams to to win all the crossover games by 2 TD's Plus with the exception of Mt. Union to beat Tussey Mt. by 14. In a non-league game, Juniata Valley should be successful at District 3's Newport.
