Cruz verbally committed to UNC.. i don't know what his numbers are this year but I know he only scored one TD last year.

Your right. Jesse is taking over for coach Creps. Creps has been helping Jesse out all year and from what I hear will step aside completely after this year. This will be a big challenge for Bedford to overcome. Mr. Creps is a very valuable asset! However Jesse has been learning from him for the past few years and will do very good himself.

creps stepping aside? meaning he will still be on the sidelines but not in control...or he'll be sittin in the bleachers with his wife? i cant really imagine Bedford football without Bill Creps.

Neither can I gunner but I am afraid that is what we are facing following this season. It will hurt us as a team more than people realize.

As long Bedford can run the midline they can't be stopped offensively.

From what I've read and seen on the news, it seems as though Sheridan and Lewis have been doing all the offensive work for the Crushers, not Jose. I saw Jose had a catch vs. Johnstown last Friday, but other then that, it seems he hasn't been dominating the LHAC at tightend. Plus Bedford has Claar and Young to shutdown the D-1 prospect.

If there is a weakness in Bedford, McCort will find it, and in years past, it has been the inability to cover the TE. I would look for Cruz to have a huge game if the coverages don't fall right. Maybe the best thing to do would be to put troy over him all night and keep him in man and shut down that option, the only thing they give up there is Monroe, a bigger body, more physical and a better DE for Bedford. The Bison's will probably play their base defense until and if that causes them problems. But the have the ability to make the changes on the run.
