no what would have helped. would have been if some of the younger players who were seeing serious playing time, could have taken the objectiven and payed attention, instead of seeing who could get their foot buried in the mud the deepest.
You can go into camp doing no running at all, and if you work your butt of at camp, you will be inshape come the first game of the season and will be able to play both ways. It's not the ideal way to go about it, but to blame a coaches spring and summer workout's for not having you in shape come the play-off's, that's a bit of a stretch...

Right there is the reason that Ridge always stunk at the end of the season. They'd start of 5-0 or 6-0, then lose two of the last three and finish the season by losing in the first round of the playoffs. I wonder if the coach that was allowing this ever stopped to think that perhaps his team was losing late in the season because the other teams had better conditioning? Hmmmm.....
