TAE, I don't think Bay demanded a trade or anything like that. I am sure he probably did want out, but that's not why they traded him. His value was assumed to be higher this year than it will be next year since the Pirates would have to deal him next year because he would be in his last year of his contract. The Pirates traded him at the right time.
