I heard second hand that Pecora is red shirted at Pitt. I also heard that he was asked by the coaching staff to play as a true freshman on special teams and back up safety because he was impressive in both the weight room and during practice, but Marco insisted on his red shirt. Again it was all second hand but good for him if its all true! Also I hear Blackwell has ben red shirted at SRU.

Not sure of his redshirt status, but Pecora did dress for the first two Pitt games.

Since somebody posted Pitt, I have to do justice with Penn State.

The Big One- Josh Hull (Penns Valley) - I dare you to name me a kid that's from District 6 that's got a better job than he does on the football field right now. The starting middle man for Linebacker U. Dosen't get much better than that.

Shane MacGregor (Central Cambria) - Will he ever start? Probably not. But hey, I like a kid that comes out of the LHAC and can at least walk-on at quarterback. Look above to see what a walk-on can do here.

Ryan Gmerek (sp?) (Moshannon Valley) - Backup running back that'll probably end up on special teams by the end of his career if he can keep working hard. Size is an issue though.
