Yeah im with crimsoncrazy here i kinda wish McCort was still AA just because i'll miss the rivalries we had with the Tyrones and Forest Hills but i am glad that we are A now because it will be fun to watch us win the district and follow the team as they make a run at the state championship!

Until your hopes and dreams are crushed by the WPIAL, like they do to almost every D6 team

The Rangers have a long way to go and will need some luck along the way to pull off their first undefeated season since 1998 I believe.
Crimson09Crazy wrote:ehh not that worried about single A. I mean theres some solid teams but i just like beating Tyrone and Forest Hills
Not sure either one of those would happen this year. Something tells me K.S. knew to get out of AA while the getting was good.

If the rangers get past BG this week which i think they will....They are definatley more then capable of going the distance but PC is looking pretty good at this point but its a long wayyy to go.

For the status of Bishop McCort.....Well i dont know what the reasoning is...but McCort has improved greatly since the scrimmage back in August.....They have a definate QB....Wadley is healthy to go along with Seidel and Lowry and the Offensive is gelling so Forest Hills BM would be a great game......and with Tyrone.....havent won a championship since '04 when the beat Shawn Lewis and Jose Cruz's McCort team? And have lost 2 straight to McCort. I mean year in and year out they go 10-0 ranked 5 in the state and have come up short....So that wasnt the greatest reason to drop down cause AA is certainly winable the next 2 years because McCort is a Junior heavy football team. But whatever the reason he decided to play against schools their own size.

WTF is that supposed to mean?? Totally illogical....They've only beaten the rangers 8 of last 12 contest & Tyrone last 2 times they met....BM returned a ton of experience & skill...fh returned some good ball players but they were sub .500 last yr....and they were afraid to play them??? I don't think so Op!

How 'bout this quote " Donbo knew to cover/fudge/lie about his #'s for yrs. 'cause he was afraid to play @ the actual level fh should have been > AAA"

Vman your talking about this year specifically true mccort was better than FH last yr, but he means down the road like after this year mccorts numbers will be very down there upcoming talent will also be down so it is only logical to compete in the weakest class. If you are aware than Coach Bailey somehow "fudges" the numbers what proof can you offer? Does he send the extras to alternative schools? Certainly the "vo tech theory" is out the window. I have also heard that FH's enrollment will be down, so much so that they will not even be using the middle school in a few years.

I follow you kofc and you make several very good points.....I am sure the BM decision was based on fact that they project lower #'s for yrs to come....certainly not fear of fh in fb playoffs!! And from a former high ranking fh official others learned of fh's creative accounting when they would be 1 or 3 below the AAA cut-off! And you r very close to how they 'hid' certain students!! I have also heard that their #'s are down in the lower grades and have been for a few yrs so they should honestly remain AA.

But if in runs in2 year cycles.....McCort is loaded this year and start 7 Juniors on offense soo theyre set for next season as well.....it didnt make sense to me
