Wow. He must of got better since the QB I saw platooning at the FH scrimmage. Also to be crowned the "Best" QB "with a doubt" only 4 starts into your varsity career...very impressive. Why should I be surprised...?

Anyways...the way to beat Richland is simple, RUN THE FOOTBALL RIGHT AT THEM. The Rams can score...but as usual..they are weak against the run. Trying to score a lot of points against a spread offense is the last thing you want to do. Again, I only saw McCort once, and it was a while ago, but they are not going to match up well in their secondary with Richland athletic-wise. Now...I'm not saying Coach J.D. Jones won't combat that with applying some pressure ( Steelers Monday night?), but you don't want to give this kid (Ramirez) time to throw all night against ANY secondary in the LHAC.

McCort's bread and butter is to run the football. Feed the ball to your two studs...Lowery, Wadley...just get these guys to tote the pigskin, eat the clock, keep the best show on turf on the sidelines, and McCort will easily walk away with a "W".

The OG predicts Lowery goes for 140 and Wadley rolls for 80 himself
McCort 31 Richland 14
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

Aren't we forgetting Seidel in the stud department here? And Schrey for that matter?

The only thing that bothers me is the false idea many McCort fans have that they are some kind of dynasty because of the last two years, yet they could not hold a candle to the runs of Forest Hills and even Bishop Carrol.

Ahh...people are thinking BM will roll over Richland so you have to revert to the old "well BM isnt even the best team around" or "try playing against the WPIAL" or "how bout you guys just play pro teams, that will put you in your place!" what a moronic argument!!!

This is about BM vs Richland. Whoever said BM's secondary is average is on some serious medication! Ill take Lowry, Schrey and Reynolds over any other. Lowry gave up some long balls that he misjudged in the air, thats it. If you arnt sold on any player/group of players because of one game, well then shame on you. Using that same logic, I bet you wouldnt take Fast Willie and Big Ben on you team after their game vs da Eagles then too??

Oh btw, its amusing Huskyfan, how you come on here trying to act like Richland is a stud team just because you lost to them by 10 was it? They matched up well against you guys, NOT against McCort.

BM 35- Richland 21

Opionguy,Lowry wont get that much only getting 10 carries a game!!!!!!
Man is he getting underused!!!!!
I mean all 3 backs are getting about 10 carries a game but lowry has the least opprutunity of getting yards cause his carries come from the Wing back position and Wadley and Seidel get theirs from the lone back position....hence why they have more yards.
But Lowry is the best WR of the 3 so he gets more touches that way.......but still.

But yes in the stud department its pick your poison with those 3 + Schrey!

It doesn't really matter if i played division 1 or didnt even play football at all, all im commenting on is the McCort ignorance held by most fans. As far as the game goes, I would whole heartidly agree, Richland is simply outmatched and on paper it would look to be a dominating win by McCort, yet we will see what transpires Friday, I may have to pick the underdog again.

Richland- 34
McCort- 30

Good point crimson certain positions in offenses may get those "good plays" whereas another position may get the smash moouth type of runs where a 3 to 4 yds gain is the optimal situation although obviously you'd like to break it. The ability of Lowry to keep the honest definetly helps both wadley and seidel, do they benefit from the trap game as well? The only thing I can think of is the that Lowry is very versitile and complete (catches, runs returns, doesnt fumble) and those 2 are maybe more of home run hitters. Another thing that has been brought up is shrey is capable of completing passes when he is asked 2 do it and he doesnt make a whole lot of mistakes.

The only MC game I have seen was the FH scrimmage and I am sorry to say but yes their secondary looked average. Maybe the were rusty but they didn't look good. I am sorry for hurting feelings by posting this but last time I checked this board was used to discuss what we saw at game and how we view them and sorry but that is how I saw it.
