You guys should work for ESPN as High School Football GURUs cause you picked this one.... CC had their way with FH. Through the air, on the ground- FH couldnt handle Myers/OSaben. Ridgley was sick on D as was Davidson(2 picks) and Lipnic(another 2 picks). Dom DeYulis was catching TD passes for crying-out-loud. Sick Game, CC. Keep it up.

That mess of a field is the ultimate equalizer. Should be an interesting game come week 9 when the Crushers make their way up to E-Burg.

I was at this game last night, and wow. I think Cambria Heights could have beaten that Ranger team last night. The Devils came out and set the tone right away with a TD pass, quickly shutting all of us up saying CCs passing game is struggling. FH couldnt get a pass completion to save their lives, and Glessner seemed to be making despiration passes hoping his receivers would be there for the catch. Instead it was always a CC defender there to make the interception. 4 interceptions I believe.

Im not exactly sure on what the stats were for each team, but im gonna go ahead and say FH would be extremely lucky to have gotten 50 yards of offense last night. Mehall couldnt get past the line, quickly finding the arms of a CC defender for short 1 yard gains. Osaben had a good night, easily over 100 yards rushing.

What impressed me the most was CC quarterback Tim Myers. The kid is an all around athlete, where in the heck was he last year? He was running, gunning, bumbling, stumbling, and just making plays left and right. If FH made it to the backfield, Myers would scramble for a 10 yard gain.

Is CC ready to make another run for a district championship appearance? Or did FH just have the worst night of their lives? Or both?

give credit to cc for the win...but if fh wouldnt have self destructed the whole game, i believe it would be a different story. how many turnovers did they have.. 5 or 6?? just a bad night all around for the rangers but i believe they will bounce back strong and make a run after that performance

I dont think it was a matter of self destructing..I think it was more along the lines of CCs gameplan completely blew FH out of the water. They were confused the whole game with the mixes of blitzes, passes and runs that CC was bringing to the table.

If we would see a playoff rematch, Im still giving the edge to CC now. I think CC is going to win out the rest of their schedule as everything is clicking for them now. The only problem for them will be a tough BM team. Week 9 for the Devils will be quite a matchup.

i would like to see these two teams meet up again in the playoffs, maybe in the title game...think it would be an absolute thriller

CC was definently much more prepared for this game than FH. Their gameplan was much more effective and their play calling too. CC treated this game like it was the superbowl (maybe it was because it was homecoming), but they actually dumped the gatorade jug on their coach after the win..

Yeah I saw that gatorade bath on coach buzz...that was a bit excessive. I mean yeah they won against an undefeated team, but what was the point of that?
