WWKSD?

Tonight in an epic battle of good vs evil, the Crushers from Bishop McCort take the field against the Blue Devils of Bellwood-Antis. I'm not exactly sure what a "Crusher" is, or why the Devils are Blue...maybe they're a distant cousin of the Red Devils from Central Cambria.

In an ironic twist, we have the "evil" Catholic private school taking on the "good" public school ironically nicknamed the Blue "Devils". The fate of District 6 will be on the line tonight...will the Devils triumph over the Catholics and finally unmask the "evil" that lies beneath the Crimson and Gold? Or will the Catholics defeat the Devils and continue to hide behind all the lies that make up their foundation?

Throughout history the Catholic church has chosen to "hide" select documents, records, stories, etc...I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. ANYONE who has studied history will and already knows this, so by no means is this Catholic bashing, just stating a fact...so before all you "good" boys get your feathers ruffled, go do some research b4 you post some idiotic reply.

The difference between good and great coaches is simple...a good coach can win with great players. Whereas a great coach can win with good players. Ken Salem is a good coach who has established a good program at BM, albeit using some "great" players services that were questionably obtained. I don't lay the entire blame on BM and Ken Salem, a lot of this has to do with the PIAA and the JOKES they call rules, but don't try to hide the facts and make excuses.

Don Bailey will and has done in the past taken a group of "good" players and somehow turned them into a winning team...it's hard to say, but there is just something weird up there at FH, maybe it's something to do with a lot of the kids growing up in a rural area and having more "chores" = discipline and dedication...than some of the city schools. The talent that FH (other public schools) has is homegrown and in some cases 2nd, 3rd, or 4th generations of kids playing, which is a rarity in private schools (aside from maybe a sibling here and there).

So in the end the rivalry between FH and BM is GREAT for football fans and the area...but it's the underlying principles that need to change to make it even better.

WWKSD when the Devils come a knockin on the cafeteria door?
