Did anyone see Tues. Altoona Mirror sports page? There was an article about Rick Neuheisel and him being a possible addition to P.S.U. coaching staff.

joe pa is a legend and can coach until he physically cant walk the sidelines as far as im concerned.

id love to see neuheisal come to psu cuz they need a shake up in that staff somewhere cuz last year was a joke and it wasnt all the players fault. he is a pretty big name coach to be playing second fiddle on the sidelines though.

on a side note, word is five star recruit anthony morelli could be looking to get out of that verbal commitment he made to pitt a while back to head to happy valley. would be a nice change where psu would reap the benefits of a signing day suprise instead of getting blindsided, ie kevin jones

I heard the same thing about Morelli, Austin. That would be nice, Scott and him together for a couple of years.

Joe Pa is a good coach, but i think he needs to step down in order for Penn State to get any better. They might still have a few good seasons but nothing really execelent. If joe would make himself less of a front runner, and maybe take a new head coach, and make himself assistant, then hed still be there, coaching but not such an impact

joe stepping down and becoming an asst. will never happen...he may do like FDR and have the title of "chief" but let someone else run the show (its said that FDR's wife did most of his political work towards the end of his final term) but joe paterno is probly one of if not, THE most recognizable name in college football history! because of him, PSU has the second largest stadium in the country...and its filled to the brim whether they are 15-0 or 0-15! joe has built a legacy and probably the best fan base in the country, to get rid of him would be like entering a 3 legged horse in the kentucky derby! DISATROUS!
