The shoes playbookboy had to fill for football were that of infant size 2. Last year the stampede only made the 2 playoff games so basically doing ANYTHING this year was more than filling last years shoes.
Basketball was a different story. We had a lot more guys willing to go to every game. This year, regardless of what you say, we only have 5-8 guys per game willing to yell.
You can have the best leaders in the world and if they have no one to lead they won't lead something successful...think about that.
Besides what did you even do at football games other than tailgate for yourselves? I maybe heard you chant defense once or twice and you did push-ups. Half the people there just stood around...they weren't being lead very well. You guys didn't even make any noise.

I haven't heard one creative cheer this year! I know last year there was about 6 humorous cheers each game! A good leader will get people to follow and attend games. So basically bison1....you're leadership skills are poor! And it's harder to hear cheers on a football field then on a basketball court! Lastly, the basketball games have given more to cheer about then all football games combined!

Please Bison1, just lock this topic. We really don't need to fight amongst ourselves; we need to better ourselves. All of us who attended that most recent games know we're bad and we'll try to ammend our mistakes. I ask you all on this Christmas Eve to stop the childish arguing between friends. I'll leave you with this statement, take it for what it's worth, which probably isn't much because I'm very motivational: We're all just fans, who cares if we don't yell as much at football or basketball games or if we don't have the most creative of cheers anymore- it just doesn't matter. You're making yourselves look like idiots by saying things like "Lastly, the basketball games have given more to cheer about then all football games combined!" or "Besides what did you even do at football games other than tailgate for yourselves? I maybe heard you chant defense once or twice and you did push-ups. Half the people there just stood around...they weren't being lead very well. You guys didn't even make any noise." and especially "Stampede...what Stampede??? "... just stop fighting, please, and we'll do the best we can to get things back to where they were and should be.

As i understand it, the"Stampede" should be there to show support and encouragement to your fellow athletes(classmates) regardless of the outcome!!! In my thoughts, anyone who participates in athletics is a "WINNER"!! just do the best you can do, in whatever you do!!! Go Stampede!!!!!!!!

ill agree with that. Even though the stampede has been a little on the quiet side this year there is no need to put them down. They wear their shirts (with pride mind you) and cheer bc they want to and bc they want to support the home team. Even if the stampede isnt up to standards this year doesnt mean the whole thing was a bad idea and isnt organized. It took alot of organization to put the thing together last year and as long as there is still members that choose to cheer and go to the game then the whole thing was a success!
