I mean athlete, not specifically a soccer player. They are good a soccer but at small schools would contribute to other teams as well.

NBC had i think 8 out of the 11 starters that play more than just soccer. Some even play 3 sports.

Multiple sport athletes are a necessity in small schools. I know those 4 or 5 kids that should be wrestling and are not would go a long way to making Bedford more respectable.

i know i come from a bygone era, but i find it interesting the lact of participation of kids in some sports....for instance; so many forfiets in wrestling matches at weights other than the light or heavy weights...only enough kids to field one team in soccer...few jv or jr high teams...track teams that do not have full compliments of a starting field in an event...seems to me a lot of kids are disinterested in activities these days

alot of it might have to do with the past as well, kids dont have a good last name so they figure they wont get the playing time that they want so they dont even bother with it, if ur not part of such and such crowd then they think they arent good enough to play and dont want to waste their time

amen gunner. most school sports are all about the last name. if you don't have a last name then you can pretty much forget about having any playing time is ANY sport.
