Very similar to TAEnimas quest to break into big time journalism...."nothing yet boys!"

I've said it once and I'll say it again, you can't be that big of a journalist, when you spend the majority of your time posting on a district 5/6 website.

Shocker, you honestly have no idea, there's no way you possibly could. And because the obsession with me on this website by a few of you is so absolutely hilarious to the rest of us, I'm gonna egg this on forever. I want to sincerely thank you for being the punchline, time and time again.

Keep trying to fulfill your ego TAE with the nonsense of an obsession that we have with you- i could care a less about you - I just call a spade a spade. I find it funny though how you talk the talk.....if you are what you claim then what possibly could you be doing posting thousands of threads on a local yocal D5/6 website? If it makes you feel better and if it will enlarge your ego that you 'think' you are the resident expert, than good for you and keep on posting and go for the Bleachercoach record for most posts. You da man.

It really is baffling how this all goes right over your head.

In addition to that, the preseason predictions magazines shoot for a 70% accuracy rate. Last year, as in previous years, mine was somewhere around 65%. I do not believe anyone got 70% last year, as far as the magazines are concerned. Also, I do everything on my own, basically off the top of my head. I do not have an office full of people crunching numbers like Phil Steele does. Now, if you wanna talk a bunch of noise about me having an accuracy rate of something like 66% and Phil Steele only hits 70%, be my guest. I really do think this obsession is hilarious.

And as far as me being on here "all day", you sure seem to sit and hit refresh until I respond. No matter how hard you try, shocker, you will never be me, even when you pray to Jeebus.

Thanks V!
But I am having such a problem with hitting this dang refresh button-over and over!! I am so obsessed!

BTW - who ever said anything about predictions?? With a prediction rate that high, you would think ESPN or Fox sports would be knock, knock, knockin on someone's door.

Come on here to start a hockey thread and low and behold my good buddy has posted again! Good thing I have all this free time without a job, living in my grandfather's attic with a dial-up connection. How could I ever post so much if I was productive?????

I write here and there for that paper and those couple sites, but this is strictly a hobby for me. I like to research college football because I like it, not because I have deadlines. I don't want to end up hating it, like a lot of people do when they get into journalism as a career. I know a lot of people from school, etc that are in it and are already burned out on it and hate it. I like doing it on my own schedule. I'm doing fine with the career I am in, so there's no reason to get into journalism full time and end up not enjoying it anymore.

I did find something for you though, shocker, maybe you have put this on your Christmas wish list?

TAE, I thought you hated Rivals because they are so biased.

Then TAE will like the fact that Donte Taylor will be playing for Pitt this year, and Isaiah Epps will be in the fold for 2010. Taylor was ranked #14 by Rivals last year, and Epps ranked #35 for 2010. Will PSU ever catch up to Pitt?
