SAY WHATTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!! Not to be rude and burst your bubble but Tussey will not even win the ICC South they wont even come 2nd. This is how it will go. Mount Union 1st, NBC 2nd, and then Tussey. In the north Bellwood will run away with it like always. As for District 5 Conemaugh Twp. is the sure favorite after the hugh win aganist a very good Windber team.

Portagealum, be careful what you say. I really believe that BM AND Bellwood Antis can and will beat the mustangs, and you will have to play one of them in the Semi's. The strength of schedule for both these teams will better prepare them for the playoffs. Portage doesn't have that advantage.

Believe it or not, if they get past Ligonier Valley this week, I could see Marion Center running the table in the Heritage Conference and getting a 3 or 4 seed in the playoffs.

I realize this was supposed to be a thread about Tussey Mountain, but somehow Portage got thrown in the mix. Beating up on teams is all well and good, but they haven't shown they can gut out a win in the fourth quarter. They won't face adversity all year. However, they are inexperienced on the O-line and that will hurt them once they get into the playoffs. Burgan and Sinosky won't be able to run, Swires will get pressured too much. Game over.

Jackson looks pretty good for Mount Union (24 rushes for 120yds) how will Tussey try to contain him?

I think we'll be re-energized this week with the return of Mydell to the lineup. We have played excellent run defense this season and we have great skill on the defensive line. We can be beaten obviously, but I don't think Tussey is the team that will be doing it. We shall see come Friday though.
