Southern's kicker has a 53 yard and 48 yard field goal.

If those remarks are true in regards to the kicker from Southern Huntingdon, considering the weather...lousy..
that is simply incredible at the HS level.

Has he had much other success this year?

What is his career long?

Does anyone remember Mike Zinoble from SH in the late 1980's? He too had a "Rocket" for a leg.

Never doubted your word, TM fan.....just emphasizing the long FG's.

What was the condition of the field at the time? Quagmire or perhaps not so bad?

Did the kicker use a soccer style approach or "old school" approach of straight on?

I'll "fight" with my neighbor and say it may be officially a 52 yarder..I also mentioned Zinobile's name at the game and was told that he hit a 58-yarder back in the day. Mike Tomlin...get this kid (Gaston from SH) a job. Then Jeff Reed can drink all day Sunday if he wants.

I'd say he was a cross between straight-on and a soccer style. Final was 40-6 SH .
