The Burns kid did not impress me on offense, on defense he was an athlete. He seems a little small to be a linebacker at the D1 level. He is very quick, maybe a switch to d-back is in his best interest at the D1 level. Are you listening Dave Wahnstat?

Very first highlight of the video 27 is Burns.

Yea, burns really torched them with 50 yards on 16 carries... and #24 had 77 yards rushing on the night. Pretty good showing by the FH defense, gave up some long passes though

Everytime one of the Wilmington backs had some contact made on them, they would spin once or even twice, sloughing off the tacklers and getting more yards after the contact than they should have. Good strategy, but bad for knees. Agree Whiting was faster than Burns, but Burns was solid muscle, and could really hit. Palladino made some nice catches against the FH 'D'. Wilmington's "huge" linemen didn't impress me as being any better than what FH faced all year. That 'size' thing everyone gets excited about is overrated. Speed and desire, or heart, cancel out size.
It ain't over until it's over.
