:mrgreen: You people are GREEN with Envy. It Is because of Kenny Salem that McCort has had the success it is realizing over the tenure of his coaching/ teaching/ administrating. He is a master of getting alumnae to donate money to the school (New Fitness Center, Use of Point Stadium). He uses his background in business to promote McCort on the Internet, TV, Radio etc. (ever listen to Johnstown's ads on 1230?? Bad)

But the one thing that stands out the most is He truly believes in Bishop McCort and all it stands for. Granted there is an unfairness to be able to get athletes for all over the area but he has been able to make McCort a very attractive place to be.

I have to congratulate him for thinking out of the box and doing what he has done.

Is that so? Then I think Old Kenny boy should've applied for the Bedford job. We'd see what kind of a "public" school coach he is. Can't bring em in there fellas. Guessing he'd struggle. Easy to believe in something if you have all the advantages.

Yup, and I can't wait to hear the commercial for Portage, Westmont, Johnstown, Richland, etc. That attracts kids to go to school there................wait..........wait..........SAY WHAT, Alli Williams?

My Point EXACTLY. Salem has done this and it has worked. Johnstown is making an effort though a pitiful one at that. The rest of the schools aren't doing a thing except for putting up a billboard with their football teams picture on it. This is what I mean by "Thinking Out Of The Box."

Thinking outside the box? Who are the local public schools trying to attract? Did you forget that public school has boundaries? Can't try to attract a kid that lives in Richland school district to go to johnstown........because that's the only place he's allowed to go to school.
