Northwestern beat the worst team in the SEC by 2
Illinois and Purdue lost to 2 not very good teams.

Big Deal that PSU,Indiana,Iowa beat 1-AA teams.

Ohio State Wisconsin and Michigan State really played national powerhouses too.

Too early to start preaching on conference strength, The Big Ten didn't exactly prove to be a strong league with last week either.
Crimson do you realize that one of the "Not so good" teams you referred to will probably beat Pitt in a few short weeks?

I'm talking about this year's Big Ten season openers. Hey, at least give Minnesota credit for leaving their state, even though it took a Herculean effort by them to thwart the mighty Middle Tennessee'ers. I guess with those 7 automatic bowl games the conference gets, they at least have to end up with a record better than 5-7.

So next year when you open with Buffalo and Maine no one should laugh? It's comical how you play New Hampshire this week and are making fun of other teams for scheduling 1-AA teams in the first week of the season. Maybe that's what Pitt should have done prior to losing to Utah.

Hey. Which Big Ten team is gonna play Eastern Illinois next year. The word about them is spreading like wildfire throughout the conference. They'll play anywhere if the home team pays them enough.

Weak?? Maybe. But true nonetheless. You know what the purpose of a "donut" on a baseball bat is for when you're on the on-deck circle? It makes swinging the bat easier to do, right? Well, Youngstown State was NOT the donut that PSU needed for their next game. Instead of starting with someone harder, they will find out next week how difficult their game will be "without using that donut on the on-deck circle".

Was Youngstown State not the Donut pitt needed last year? The way Pitt fans spin things is absolutely comical. Youngstown State was a perfect way to break in a true freshman QB. Penn State might get destroyed this week, but it won't be because of Youngstown State. It will be because Alabama is the better team. It will be another great learning experience for Bolden.

Let's get back on subject here. Pitt, Uconn, and Cincy...top dogs in the big east all lose to unranked teams.

Discuss amongst yourselves.

Tell me. When Penn State scheduled YSU for their season opener at home, did they know they were going to start a true freshman QB??? The answer is a resounding NO. So don't come on here telling us it was a perfect way to break in a true freshman. It was really a way to schedule a cupcake opener for practice, no matter WHO started for the Nits. Another payoff for an easy win, errr make that practice.

Playing YSU was a "perfect way to break in a true freshman" yesterday???? The official attendance yesterday was 101,203. Beaver Stadium holds 107,282. So how perfect was that? That's over 6,000 empty seats (which has nothing to do with Heinz Field). Maybe a better product would fill the stadium for the much anticipated season opener. It's like FH playing Vo-tech years ago. Does anyone really want to see a game like that? After all, isn't it about the money??

There was a new opening at the museum. That's the explanation for the 6,000 empty seats. After all, that's what Pitt fans use to justify 40,000 empty seats, along with Kennywood, malls, the Pittsburgh Zoo, and Jason Bay bobble-head night.

Pitt sucks. Pitt please come back to Athens!!!!!!!!!!
