There seems to be some misunderstanding on the Aliquippa/SF game. Sure the Quips only managed 6 points, but they had almost 250 rushing yards and almost 350 yards of offense. They had atleast 4 turnovers and I'd bet on more. This SF team is a darn good passing team, but they are far from complete. The defense is suspect. This is not Tyrelle Pryor and the Jeanette Jayhawks people. SF is beatable, even though heavily favored. Heck, with the weather in Western PA.. any passing team can be shut down. Goodluck to the Rangers. They are going to need to play to perfection. The game being on Saturday certainly helps with Bailey's experience.

Lakers, you're exactly right. The Quips fumbled 4 times and 3 of them were inside the the 20.
I don't know if the weather will be as big as a factor as you're thinking -- it was snowing like crazy for the Brockway game and Brumbaugh and Buganza both still put up huge numbers. Brumbaugh was 22 for 26 with 380 yards and 5TDs. Brockway hung with them 35-28 til the end of the 3rd quarter, and it was only 21-28 at halftime.
You have to remember too, Brockway played a primarily class A schedule compared to South Fayette. Bottom line, you're right, these aren't the Jayhawks of '08 who destroyed everybody they faced. FH still has to play their best game of the season if they want to move on though.

Considering WT's love for the WPIAL, you'd think he'd RELISH the fact that New Brighton was in the nation's top 10 in high school football that year. Can't understand why he makes fun of that?

How many turnovers did Sharon have yesterday? What would have happened if THEY would have held onto the ball?

Even though Peyton Manning is the QB for SF, football was invented by Don Baily in Sidman, PA. Rangers by 10, at least.

^ Coming from the same guy who said FH would be beaten by a "way more athletic Sharon team".

In order for Forest Hills to win this game they have to play ball control. The Ranger secondary has been playing much better lately, but they are going to witness a passing attack like they have never seen before Saturday in Greensburg.

The key for Forest Hills is to simply survive the first half. If a kid can throw for 3 grand in the WPIAL...chances are he is going to be able to throw against a LHAC team. However, I think Forest Hills can ground it out as long as Meier, Dudukavich, and Unger are healthy enough to give it a go. Keep the score within reason, and let these guys will the G&G to a W. If this game is close in the 4th quarter...it may be a sweet ending for the Rangers!

The OG likes the Rangers 36-35.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

"If the game is close in the 4th" will be the hardest part. Fall asleep once and this team will make you pay. Their offense is relentless
