nothing embarrassing about losing in the western finals...The Rangers got further this year than most area teams ever had. Maybe they should of lost to Sharon...but they didn't. The rangers did the best they could with the schedule that was handed to them. They just ran into match up problems against South Fayette. I'd be willing to bet that they would of gave West Catholic a better game than South Fayette. Definitely not saying they would of beat West Catholic but they would match up better. Bottom line is, the Rangers should be proud of their accomplishments this season. Not embarrassed.

If they should be embarrassed then everyone the Rangers beat this year should be embarrassed because of some people on this site think the Rangers sucked this year. All they did was go 13-2, Laurel Highlands Champs, D5-6 champs, Region III Champs, Western Finalists....How embarrassing!!!

I don't think anyone had a chance...West Catholic went 8-2 in a AAAA conference and only lost 14-7 to the 2009 state AAAA champs who are in the Title game again tonight. That's why Private schools should be in AAAA, period. A kid from Bellwood participates in our swim team, we now have to count tyrone and b-a enrollment for our classification, why doesn't BG have to count Altoona and H-burg, and Tyrone on top of theirs? They have starters that live in 4 different school districts on their girls team. At least the kids that transfer to public schools have to relocate. It's a dead horse , but it will continue to stink until the PIAA buries it.

Not crying just stating facts, I'd love to see us play all the Bishops in the regular season, same reason West Catholic plays the quad A teams...competition ! They are good competition, but there is no way you can twist it that it's fair for a school that draws from multiple school districts (especially in the cities) should be allowed in a playoff system with A and AA schools. And I'd go with what Crimson suggested, because in our case we'd add less than 20 to our numbers( couple home-schoolers, 1 at BG, and a few at the Christian school), no problem there at all...just want a level playing field.

Everyone complaining about private and public is wasting their time, its been and on going thing for a while and it doesnt seem like its going ot change so why not move on and quit bringing this up in every post! it tends to ruin every good post! because from the title of this post it was supposed to be about a PUBLIC school yet all everyone can complain is private schools! Well if it's embarassing for FH it's even more embarassing for McCort and Carrol who both got absolutely rolled by FH. Seriously, if you're not from Johnstown, how are you going to call anything embarassing for Forest Hills? They embarassed your team last time I checked. FH easily could've put up 70 on McCort, and 50 on Carrol.
