Gotta believe that Clairton is in the mix at the end of the year. They still have Coles and a lot of their team back. They knocked off how many bigger schools down in Texas at the 7-on-7? Rochy is always tough and I'm guessing Springdale, Sto-Rox, or Serra will be around deep in the playoffs. I think Steelton is back to near where they were when they won two straight, but I'd be surprised if they'd knock off Clairton should they make it. Southern Columbia is always around, don't forget about them.

Ike,
What does Ferens have around him at PM this year? I know they lost Trimble. Is he a legit prospect? Josh Funk had his groan-worthy recruiting news about Ferens being recruited by Texas. Funk's a veritable encyclopedia of PA football, but I hate his "so-and-so issues oral declaration" BS. It's called a verbal, man. Gotta believe Ferens is more of a D2 or FCS type guy. Not tall enough. BC shut him down last year in the playoffs. Does have some moxie though.

Thanks for the Updates Guys! I am not sure who Penns Manor has back...I am not even sure who will represent the Heritage this year. It seems like in some ways there has not been a super team the last few years from that conference that will unseat BM...Honestly from the sounds of it at least as far as the WPIAL goes I believe FH or Tyrone could dispatch of the AA representative...I don't think there is a powerhouse like SF this year out west....Out East well WC seems STACKED...but with that said Wilmington pulled it off a few years ago...We shall see

Ike,
I gotta believe that PM would have given McCort a game last year. This year, maybe not. I'm thinking Homer-Center should be pretty good. Tough to say this early. Ligonier has to be the favorite to win the conference just from a numbers standpoint, but I doubt they will make any noise come playoff time.

I have to give the Heritage a lot of credit though. As lackluster as they have been after the regular season, they do a heckuva a lot of media coverage. From the Coaches Corner Show on Saturday mornings to covering multiple games on the radio, they are all over the place. They're homers through and through on the radio, but at least they get the games on the air. Too bad there aren't many Indiana County posters on here.

For the LHAC fans out there, check out the new Central Cambria logo on their helmets. Not a fan personally.

I think Penns Manor has many of their skill kids back. I'm not sure what they have back up front.

homer should be down this year....only 4 seniors and very young overall. PM has ferens, vodipivec in the backfield, and some other quality kids, but i think they lost a good amount of seniors. ligonier will be good, and should be. northern, MC, Blairs., PL were all young last year, so theoretically they should be better this year. united always has some physicality to them as well.

Mytrysak has done a really nice job since he was brought in. He's a United guy. They've just run up against PM and Danny Ferens the last two years.

I agree with Tyrone in AA but im willing to bet Forest Hills will have a down year. Not saying they will have a losing season or even be .500 they will still put up alot of wins just not enough to be in the D-6 championship contention

That would be a safe conservative bet.
