Re: Penn State RB recruiting
The thing is, I'm assuming Ray Graham will be entering the NFL. He'll be a 3rd, 4th round pick. He's better than Dion Lewis.
But he could stay, you never know. Plus Todd Graham brought in three backs in his first recruiting class, none of which were elite players like this, but still thats a crowded group, and at that a crowded group that will all be freshmen and sophomores.
But I do think Shell is coming to Pitt.
Mahone? I think he's leaning Notre Dame. Garmon I have no clue.
And as a Running Back, I'm not sure why Pitt is in the final grouping for some of the best running backs in the region....What does Pitt offer you? Graham is not recruiting linemen, and the ones he has are awful.

He has NO interest in Penn State.
When he came up for his visit (I think it was Alabama), he was a little late because of the flooding. Penn State knew this, and had nothing in place to help Mahone and his family get to the section for the recruits. He sat by himself, and did not talk to any of the coaches on his visit.
He has since tweeted (or Facebook, I dont remember) trashing Penn State for this, and I think it is justified. If me and my family drove to a school for a visit, and the school acted like it didn't matter if I was there or not, I'd be miffed too.
This is on the heels of reports that his mother is pushing him towards Notre Dame. So with all that said, and known by the PSU staff, they did not care enough to make the effort.
It is disgusting.
Exactly what I heard and it is absolutely disgusting. Coaching staff just shows up and collects paychecks.

Well when Ray Graham has games like that, maybe thats what is enticing to recruits.
