Re: District Six A Preview
Homer, maybe?
Realizing one team has played a tougher schedule than anyone else in the field....well....yeah.
I've only seen 5 teams play live this year, Bishop McCort and Penns Manor happen to be 2 of those 5 teams. Ain't a blind pick.
If you are saying that in regard to my McCort-Bellwood pick, well I've said all year long that game could go either way.
And I'm a homer for picking McCort, that has won or played in a District Championship every year for the past 7 years? well if thats the case, well sorry to dissapoint you. I'm not an idiot.
I can be an Alabama alum and say we are going to the Championship....
That goes two ways....
I'm a homer, or I happen to realize that the school I graduated from is pretty good.
take it as you will, or make your own preview.

Homer pick or not, picking BM to win sinlge A any year is a good pick. I'm not sure I would pick outside of them or Bellwood ever if I were a betting man. I mean unless you were a BC fan last year did anyone really think they were going to win that game? I sure didn't.

A coach asking a team to forfeit brought me to this level of dislike

Re: District Six A Preview
I guess I'm a homer also, because i'm picking Bellwood over McCort. Since I keep the stats for BA, I only get to see the teams they are playing that week and can only go by the write ups in the paper for teams like BM. I agree with Crimson that BM does play a tougher schedule than all the other "A" teams, including BA. I really thought that BA would beat BM last year because that teams defence was really good. This years "D" has opened even my eyes.....they have been getting better and better every game, something I can't say about last years team. So a homer I am and really hope that this years game lives up to all the others! Now watch and see both teams get knocked off and never meet.

To a degree, anyone is. I try to be objective, though. And I've said time and time again, the Bellwood-McCort game is the real D6 Championship game in my eyes.

It was in 2008, 2009 luckily they played at Mansion, last year if not for BC it would have been, and this year once again it is and unfortunately it'll most likely be in the semis. See the pattern?Crimson's Ghost wrote:And I've said time and time again, the Bellwood-McCort game is the real D6 Championship game in my eyes.

Re: District Six A Preview
Last year the real D6 A champ game was BC and PM...but that's just my opinion and that was last year. It happens pretty frequently though when the two best teams match up before mansion park.
