Forest Hills has to be the team to beat until someone does it.As far as seeing Westley and Strayer wrestle, don't count on it,unless FH has a big lead.Strayer is AWESOME,but Westley is in that elite class too,to give up 10 pounds to someone of close to the same ability is admirable but not smart from a team standpoint.Tyrone is strong through the middle,if Strayer jumps to 135,that opens up 1 or 2 weights where normal starters for the Rangers will either give weight to good kids or slide a JV kid in to get thumped.Plus giving up that much weight,it isn't out of the realm of possibilities that Strayer may lose.Hey,Sam McCloskey darn near beat Scott(a couple more seconds and he woulda),he'll give Strayer a tough match.

Strayer and Westley: not likely, but possible and thats only IF FH and Tyrone do, in fact, make the final. Alot depends where people weigh-in at and who wins the cointoss before the match.

I will take nothing away from Jake Strayer. The kid is simply unreal. He does not get tired and that will once again help him at the state tourney. With that said I have seen him wrestle this year and he does not look as impressive as years past. He is undefeated yes and in this sport how you win doesn't matter but he is not dominating kids like he has in the past. it seems like ever since he won states all the other kids in the state have taken notice and have tried to mold themselves into how Jake wrestle. Which means a lot of kids have got up to him and I feel that he stands a greater chance of getting upset than he has in years past. If he wins states he will definitely not win it w/o a big fight

I believe your district 6 championship will be wrestled in the semi-final between CK and Forest Hills. Nothing personal but i believe either one beats Tyrone

everyone is entitled to their opinion.I got an idea, why don't you guys beat FH,then you can prove you're the better team.A tourney in early January isn't much to hang your hat on.

Not hanging my hat on a tournament in early January am looking more at the match-ups and how they may fall.

The weather is throwing a big wrench into the works for the duels.I believe our match tonight is off, seeing how the kids got sent home from school early. And the nasty stuff is supposed to keep up.Which puts our match with BEA in jeopardy Thursday, and the d-6 match of the year as well,#1 AA Westley vs #1 AAA Shirk. All 8 teams may make it to Tyrone Saturday with the time schedule being altered to fit 8 teams. At least that's what I hope happens.
