Re: Richland beatdown
Giving up 28 in the first half is pretty bad though..

Re: Richland beatdown
Tyrone is a great team and the best team won. Richland's pass defence was poor all year. When you get to this point in the playoffs playing well with no mistakes is a must and the Rams made mistakes and Tyrone took advantage.
Re: Richland beatdown
To me that means that Richland's coaching staff made halftime adjustments an out coached BM staff in the second half. ;)jack daniel wrote:Giving up 28 in the first half is pretty bad though..
Re: Richland beatdown
As far as all those Richland uniforms go. If the football boosters raised the money to buy them what's the problem. The money isn't coming out of your wallet. McCort should be able to buy several uniforms. The Company i work for donates Thousands of dollars every year to be a (Corporate Sponsor of Bishop McCort Football). Which is taking money out of my pocket. What a joke! If you can't afford a team have fundraisers or pay to pay!

Re: Richland beatdown
Well my family thinks its a joke they have to pay public school taxes for the school district we live in when I never spent a single day enrolled at that school! And I'm assuming you meant pay to play and not pay to pay. And at McCort you do, everyone who plays any sport has to pay a fee I'm not sure if its the same amount for every sport or not but many schools do that. Windber started doing it this year and parents there were up in arms over the fact they had to pay Windber's new $50 playing fee. And could McCort afford to have 3,000 different uniforms like Richland? Yes. But everyone in Crusher nation happens to love the unis they have so thats why they don't changed. But hey we did change the unis like 6 or so years ago. Adding the gold strip up the side of the home red jerseys, as well as adding the red M with McCort underneath it right below the collar on both the home reds and road whites.ramfan wrote:As far as all those Richland uniforms go. Likewise, there are many citizens who think it is a joke that public schools are required to pay the transportation costs for every kid who goes to private school.jack daniel wrote:Well my family thinks its a joke they have to pay public school taxes for the school district we live in when I never spent a single day enrolled at that school!

Jack, Could you answer a question, dead serious. As a outsider I do not know why corp. sponsors are needed for the football team. Is it to pay for renting the point? Is it a fundraiser for the school? Is the money made on football(assuming there is a profit) used to help fund the school.

Re: Richland beatdown
The money that the school raises through football, and through the 12th Man Club which is the football boosters, is used to help support every athletic team not just the football team. The corporate sponsors I'm not 100% certain on, but I think money from them benefit many facets of the school. Supporting the athletics, helping to pay to rent out the point for sporting events, and for anything else that the school may need money for. Because lets face it, the money generated from getting tuition from the parents of around 420 kids can only go so far.ramfan wrote:Jack, Could you answer a question, dead serious.
