As do I, if the injuries and drug abuse never happened....Hamilton would have been playing like this as a 19 year old. No doubt about, the natural ability

The best thing about Josh Hamilton is that he can have an awful month like this and still have the league lead in RBI's. I bet he heats up in August. He's too good not to. Bad months happen.

I bet Hamilton doesn't heat up until he changes his approach. His body has been banged up to the extent that he may just not be quick enough anymore to hit those bad pitches he used to clobber. Once the league gets the memo on how to get a guy out the follow it closely. notice A-Rod's numbers the past few years? He still hits 20 home runs a year, but only when someone lets a pitch out over the plate. The book on him the last five years has been to get in on him with fastballs. He just can't get to them anymore. Its ironic that his hand was broke by an 89 mph changeup from King Felix.
