I think they will be good enough to be "voted" into the poll in the top 10 on a regular basis. I think if they play SEC schools on a regular basis, however, it will be more of the same like the beating Michigan received from Alabama this year.

College football, in my opinion, will continue to shift to the South and West for a few reasons. It is much easier to travel for kids. The weather is much nicer. The girls are prettier. ESPN is a talking billboard for the SEC.

Crimson....still think Pitt has a nice defense brewing? Youngstown State 31 pts, Cinci 34 pts, Louisville 45 pts. I guess they did handle Syracuse and Gardener Webb pretty well.

2-4 that hurts. I had no idea part of Penn States sanctions were to punish Pitt, too.

Pitt football has sucked for the last 25 year. With basketball season less than a month away thank God PSU basketball team has no sanctions against them. I'd hate to see them drag Pitt basketball down to their level.

That was a rough one, but very winnable. Louisville and Cincinnati are top 20 teams, it is what it is.

They shut down Va Tech and Syracuse. They looked good in those games. The other games haven't been there.

Hopefully they can take down Buffalo and Temple in the next two weeks and get to 4-4.

Quietly, Tino Sunseri is having a nice little season. 1750 yards through half a season. 10 TDs, just two interceptions. Completing 70% of his passes. And good for being the 10th best in QB rating. But he's been sacked way too much. Not his fault for the most part.

The season is half over for both Pitt and Penn State. Anxious to see how things turn out for both teams.
