Seems kind of unfair to me that Bishop Carroll and Shanksville are both district runner ups yet Shanksville has an hr drive and the BC kids could walk to the gym (game's at central Cambria). I think this game would be much better suited to be played at Richland or UPJ.

Johnsonburg is ranked 3rd in 'A'. Saw them play last year and I don't believe they lost anything. They are a very good team. As a BC supporter, I agree that playing at CC is not fair to Shanksville at all!!!

UPJ is considered District Five territory. And Richland isn't being used. So Central Cambria may be the only place to play the game. Assuming the PIAA gives more credit to D6 #2 over D5 #2

Johnsonburg beating Brockway by 40 is no surprise. AA bball in D9 is very weak. However, Johnsonburg is very good and they have exceptional athletes. Their guard play is outstanding. They are quick, get to the rim and shoot the three ball. I can see them reaching the western finals with a little luck, but they will face several teams that mirror them along the way.

Will take Shade over North Catholic in a close one. After that, well, just look at what the LP boys did to Shade last year. Johnsonburg over Shade easily in second round.

Shades players were juniors and soph. then and got way better. This year they are all seniors and a junior. Big difference. Fyock and walker are already committed to upj and juniata. That is big around here to go somewhere other than a community college. I bet those small johnsonburg kids will not go anywhere. They are too small being 6-1 as their tallest. I say shade can beat them also with 6-4 walker down low and fyock popping the 3 outside and medva and nash are around 6-0 and quick to handle the small quick guards john. has + shade has fyock and big wade walker, 2 players john. doesn't have. I wouldn't say shade gets blown out to them though! And that lincoln park team shade lost to had d-1 kids and height and quick guards. Big difference to john. with no d-1 kids and all small. I am more worried about north catholic than john. because they have height with two 6-4 heavy kids. I know shade will have as much quickness and more height than john. C.t is good and quick and shade beat them and I feel ct would handle john. also.

Post above.... "I am more worried about north catholic than john. because they have height with two 6-4 heavy kids."

Realize it was back in December, but Johnsonburg BEAT North Catholic by 15. You should be much, much more worried about Johnsonburg than North Catholic.
