Game. When the blew the whistle when we completed a long pass and called it back because of the whistle

I remember watching the film and seeing how close Chris was to the sidelines when he passed. Easily 10+ yards away. That was billy boys first ejection I believe

Just would like to know what coach Salem is thinking about right now. I wonder if he is asking. Do you miss me now?

Speaking of no class: the McCort student section taunts the opposing teams players praying as "satan worshipers". Glad those kids are getting a fine Catholic education.

Late in the 3rd quarter, with the score Richland 57 BM 21, Shaffer PASSES for a 22 yard TD, making the score 64-21. Guess that was Richland's way of trying to quiet the taunting from home crowd . Did Shaffer make that call, or did it come from the sidelines? Tit for Tat

No question Richland is the better team this year.

Who cares if they ran the score up?? Not me... that's football. It was mostly against the JV team anyway. Let the Richland team enjoy the moment.

As far as the poor sportsmanship, there is no way anyone that was actually at the game can honestly say the same behavior wasn't going on in both directions. I thought we were at a football game not a night at the opera.

Perhaps the poor sportsmanship complaints are a mere distraction from the real questions of the night...

1) How did McCort, a team that many on this board have referred to as the worst McCort team ever, score three times on Richland's starters, when they have been unable to score on any other team?
2) That being said, will Richland be prepared for actual competition outside of the LHAC?

yep, Salem would have never ran it up on a weaker team.

Tit for Tat

I think you meant what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Mccort has some more blowouts coming there way.

I wasn't complaining about the McCort students really, just making an observation about their aberrant behavior. I expected better, but from the dismissive attitude from an apparent alumnus can only surmise it is normal.

As to your "real" questions, my observation was that, as in years past, Richland got caught up in the emotion of the rivalry, tried too hard to do too much, and allowed some scores they normally wouldn't allow. Once they settled in it was more business as usual.

As for if they will be ready outside the LHAC, I hope so but they need to play the next game and worry about that later.

And to whether it was running up the score by passing, el moldo, they were going to score whether they ran the ball or passed so in my estimation the sooner they got it done the better.

I just think it's funny that you didn't like taunting by BM STUDENTS, but don't seem to mind it by Richland ADULT coaches. Hey, kids will be kids. And what about humble in victory, gracious in defeat. Tit for tat???
