Congrats to Shade. They really deserve it after how these kids picked this program up the last couple seasons.

Shade was definitely a power team of the early 80's in the AC, but a 49 game win streak? I think they won 6 straight after losing to LV in 1980 and went into the 1981 AC Championship game 9-0 but lost to another 9-0 Saltsburg team and the went 10-0 in 1982 beating PL in the championship game. 1982 was one of the few years where the east (now West Pac Schools and old LV) was stronger than west (Heritage Schools now). Shade also appeared in the 1977 AC Championship and lost to HC
