Interesting tidbit I didn't know. Remember Casey McGhee , he led Japanese MLB in hitting and hit 28 hrs.. Now batting cleanup for Marlins and just cleared bases for a 6-0 lead in Marlins opener .. Good for him!

Part of the crowd at PNC to bring home win #1! Thanks for the walk-off Neil...The Ovation for Leyland was one of those had-to-be there moments (and Hurdle too)

What a game!! To be there and see Opening Day with all the festivities was AWESOME!! To be there with my brother was fantastic!! To see the great pitching and good defense is what is going to keep them in the games The hitting was not bad. There some pretty good line drives that were crushed but just hit right at people in the outfield.I can think of Martes first at bat and Snider's hit in the third for the double play was a shot shot. I think Ishikawa will be the first baseman to see if he can rekindle his past success. Going 2 for 3 in the first game against a quality pitcher won't hurt hurt chances of getting the majority of playing tome. The thing I noticed already about the team is their bench stinks. With today's starting line-up you were left with 5 right handed hitters with no power at all. We have to find a left handed bat for the late innings to at least be a threat. How about those first place BUCS!!

Just watched the ROOT replay...didn't realize I saw Neil's first career walk-off dinger plus the largest crowd in PNC regular season history!

A lot of WOWS!
