Not sure when he will be back. He was the 3 hitter for McCort's state championship team as a sophomore, and had a monster season last year on their D6 title team. He can change the D6 and state Class A championship picture.

Austin McMonagle must be the real deal for Williamsburg. Their coach said he's striking out anywhere from 11-17 batters a game all year long.

Homer beating Carroll isn't too much of an upset, Homer has had a very strong program for years now.

McCort and Juniata won convincingly.

Good pitching wins come playoff time.

McMonagle is tough. Consistently in the mid 80's would be my guess. Throws strikes. Throws a curve for strikes. If they can sneak by JV with Shaw on the mound, they could definitely keep it close with McCort with McMonagle on the mound.
