D5 Playoff Predictions

Any forecasts on the three other Dist. 5 teams in the play-offs this week;

Homer-Center at Portage
Punxsutawney at Somerset
Westinghouse at Chestnut Ridge

I have Portage 42 Homer-Center 14, see HERITAGE WEEK 11

Homer-Center, Portage, Punxsutawney, and Somerset are all in the District 6 playoffs.

You are correct that Portage and Homer-Center are District 6, but Portage plays in WPAC which Chiefwapum forecasts. Somerset is in District 5.

BTW: After a bit more research I will have to retract my prediction on the Portage game and now predict Portage 42-21

Can I ask what you found in your research ?!?!? Sorry I've just seen a lot of people picking Portage to win big, and that really surprises me after the solid round 2 beating they took from Berlin last week. Just curious to what others know that I apparently do not Ha Ha

While Somerset may be located in District 5, since it is the only AAA school in the region, they participate in the District 6 Playoffs in football. Any time their numbers are too big for District 5 they compete in District 6.

Homer center has not been very good the whole second half of the season. I think that's where most of the predictions have come from.

In class AAA it is a combined 5/6/8/9 playoff. Punxsutawney is in District 9.
In class AA Westinghouse of District 8 is at Chestnut Ridge of District 5.
