This is the biggest game in D6 this season. Both teams are RED HOT and just DOMINATING the competition. So here's my breakdown:

Speed loves turf, and Mansion Park is the venue...EDGE: Mount Union
Snow and cold weather loves power football...EDGE: Tyrone
Skill players, both teams are FULL of them...EDGE: Even
Offensive Lineman are the unsung hero's...EDGE: Tyrone
Offense wins games...EDGE: Mount Union
Defense wins championships...EDGE: Tyrone
Big name players shine in big time games...EDGE: Mount Union (Loner)
Coach Wilson grew up in this big game astmosphere and was groomed by the legend John Franco...EDGE: Tyrone
Act like you have been here before and the stage isn't to bright...EDGE: Tyrone

Prediction...Mount Union gets off to a hot start breaking some big plays but Tyrone forces a few turnovers, settles in, and out muscles Mount Union wearing the Trojans out in the 2nd half...The Golden Eagles win a hard fought classic, 35-28

It's going to be a great game. My breakdown :
1. Tyrone must play good defense early, getting down 2 scores early is trouble. I don't think Tyrone's offense is built for that.
2. MU must stop the run, if the manage Tyrone's run game and make them pass the ball. I think they force some turnovers.
3. Tyrone has to be good in a 4 man front. Running a 5 leaves your outsides open and vs MU that calls for a long night ( ask central)
4. MU has to limit turnovers. Just one vs Central and really their only flaw of that game.

Overall going to be a great game, give me MU 34-20

Sitting here reading the breakdown of what could be a good football game from different participants and then
I came across the RAVEN again. Good grief the John Franco worshipper again. I just know for sure that if we
all visited RAVENS home there would be a FATHEAD picture of the great one in every room of the house and
upon departure we all would receive a John " The Legend " bobble head for our vehicle.

Anyhow back to the game. I saw the Mt Union twice this year and Tyrone 3 times.
We are all correct they both are good in what they do, Tyrone strength and precision.
Mt Union terrific pursuit to stop sweeps. Fast on offense, sloppy on occasion with the ball and seems to be
weak sometimes if you run straight at them.
They both kick well.
Both have first year head coaches, but don't forget Coach Wilson was groomed by the legend.

Anyhow Mt Union was talked about all year because they played in the little school ICC conference.
Tyrone was praised because they were in the big boys league.

So gathering all of this information plus the fact Tyrone is playing in their home away from home I suppose
I'll have to bet the ranch on Tyrone. I also picked Mr. Ed the talking horse to win the Kentucky Derby.

In conclusion, hope its a great game for the fans, hope the players stay injury free, hope the weather is
decent and may the best team win.

Hey Raven, may I have two bobbleheads please.

I haven't gotten to see Mount Union, I've covered Tussey Mountain all season except the MU game for The Daily News. I keep all the stats for our teams in the office and Mount Union has a lot of penalties and will turn the ball over. It hasn't caught up with them yet. I didn't think they were going to blow out Central so Tyrone game should be a real good one.

MY MISTAKE. Apologies to all. In setting the record straight in regards to Coach Franco
and the term "LEGEND" I had to go to the dictionary and look it up.

LEGEND ........ 1. Old Story, unlikely to be true.
2. Modern myth.

That ends it, I was wrong. You guys were correct.
