They are the fastest and most talented team, no one is surprised they can beat Clearfield, they should be beating a lot of teams , problem is they are losing g to CH and Westmont due to penalties and poor discipline and lack of coaching leadership, when you have a talent like Xree Lowe who can take away Lezzer which most teams don't have, Clearfield is more beatable

You never know what team is going to show up for Johnstown.  A good Coach has his kids prepped every week, unless they are undermanned against a better team, as FH was against Central last eve.  This same FH squad SHOULD have beaten the mighty Trojan-men, but fell by 1 point.  A win in that game would have meant a 6 seed for FH.  Guess that's why they play the game.  As the other thread shows, there have been bigger upsets through the years.  JHS won this game because of a broken play and 1 sharp kid being in the right place at the right time.  Penna had nothing to do with the outcome of that final play.

Johnstown has good players, if anyone were to pull an upset it would be them.

With all due respect, I suggest you watch the game film.  It was way more than "a broken play".  If fact Johnstown pretty much dominated that game and should have won by at least two scores.  I would say the coach and his staff had a little something to do with that.

J-Town, has the talent to match up with just about anyone around here. They have been underachieving the past few years IMO. I am happy for them with the win. J-town has some good kids this year and some good people coaching them. Hopefully they can play well again this coming week. I think J-town/Somerset has the potential to be a great game.

With all due respect, please re-read my last comment.    I did not say the Coaches or staff didn't deserve the win based on their entire game plan.  I said it was all because of ONE holder scrambling for the winning score, on a botched kick attempt.  I saw all I needed to see of the final play courtesy of Ch. 6's cameraman.

Wow WJAC actually had the play? WTAJ had the Johnstown second half scores (and a two point conversion) but had to bail before OT I suppose.

I think it was Ch.6.  The only time I ever watch Ch. 10 is when something pre-empts the WJAC news, even though it's mostly all from Centre Co. and the same story gets repeated for 2 to 3 days.  And you have to not blink your eyes or you will miss that 3-1/2 min. sports segment.  But I do get the weather 3 times in a half hr.
