Great list of Pirates, all the way thru the thread. One omission I think worthy to be mentioned, CF Omar Moreno. Only hit .252, but Stole 487 bases, Fielding % .982, and provided a lot of excitement in the late 70's-early 80's.12HankQB wrote:I would say Cutch, just rough as of this season

I ranked Moreno 4th on my CF list behind Andrew McCutchen, Max Carey (most SBs in Pirate history) and Andy Van Slyke. Moreno was good, but certainly a step below these three players. Loved his hustle as a player though. He stole 96 bases in 1980!
