I just feel like MC has been more competitive in recent weeks and don't believe that West Shamokin is that good.  It's not like its as big of an upset pick as those that will pick McCort to beat Liggy...

Can anyone tell me what's up with Penns Manor this season?? They're normally really good, just a down year or what?

It looks like they are losing some close games they used to win...

Wow Chris.  I'm impressed you behaved yourself there.  I thought that would be a chance for a LV guy to take a shot at a PM team that has beat up on them in the past.  I thought you Rams and Coach Beitel were going to pound PM into the ground with no mercy this year after what they've done to you guys in the past.  From what I've heard PM really is just a play or two away from winning some of these games.  They're a relatively young team (although the kids have been aroudn for those runs they haven't played much) so maybe tides will turn as they gain experience here in the second half of the season.

I think it's just the cycle small schools like Pm go through. They were fortunate enough to have a really good stretch of athletes go through there for the past 7 seasons or so and I think they just may be short the athletes and caliber of players they've had in the recent years.

I watched West Shamokin last week against United, United is average, middle of the pack in the Heritage and should've won. They blew the game, but Shamokin has a lot of skill on offense. I cant see MC beating them.

I have watched 2 games. PM is young and SMALL!!!!!!   They work hard but too many tackles by the defensive backs. Also have discipline problems. By disciplin i mean too many unnecessary penalties.
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever!!!

I don't know if this is the right forum but I think it's a good place to start with a conversation that we don't get to have very often in the heritage conference. Does anyone know if Collin Smith, WVU recruit, plans to play basketball or any other sports? It seems they're holding him on a short leash as far as how much he plays in football games even. I heard he hasn't played much if any defense (which is wehre they're recruiting him to) and naturally (with the beatings they're giving teams) he hasn't been in very long on offense.

I know you Liggy guys on here have to have some insider info!

Although I think this should be in a different thread I will throw in my two cents. Will he play basketball? I don't know. I think he should play though. College coaches love kids that are multi sport athletes, it provides many benefits to participate in other sports. I don't think he is one of WVUs top recruits by any means either so I can't see why they would oppose. If he doesn't play, I understand why, but I think he should. I'd be curious to know if anyone has any inside info on that
