Re: HERITAGE WEEK 13
Based on what? The only team that they both played was Cambria Heights and the scores were pretty similar. McCort plays in a much tougher conference and has much more talent back from last year.Crimson's Ghost wrote:I don't see the McCort-Ligonier game being all that close, both teams are banged up. But McCort's injuries seem more costly, I don't think they have the depth Ligonier has.
Probably going to be 35-7ish again. Even at full health, Ligonier seems to have the better team.

No Elijah Parrish and Collin Smith, Smith dang near beat mccort singlehandedly last year. Parrish was arguably the best small school LB in the state and they had no answer.youngbuck wrote:Come on man, just say no to drugsCrushersports wrote:Ferndale 14

LV is a good team no doubt, but I just have a feeling their time is up...we'll see on Saturday

It's just a prediction based off seeing both teams play, just think Ligonier has a more explosive offense that will be hard to stop. I don't think strength of schedule matters, Ligonier is just good.
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 13
Yes Parrish was great and Smith too. But this years LV team is very strong up front. Stronger than last year and the linebackers are good too. Smith was exceptional at safety, but Daugherty and Tutino are very good safeties as well. They'll be all over the field Saturday night making plays on both sides of the ball.

Re: HERITAGE WEEK 13
They still have Tutino and Daugherty who can both singlehndedly beat BM and both had their way against them last year. LV is just as explosive as they were last year and they are better upfront on both sides of the ball. If you want to use last year’s LV team as a barometer for what might happen this year then you can expect a lot of the same results. I haven’t seen BM play this year so idk how they are compared to last year and this might be a great game, but if they aren’t significantly better I’m not sure how they’ll stop that explosive offense and put up enough points to make it a game. Again, I didn’t see BM play CH, but LV left 5 points on the field on missed extra points and their starting D gave up one TD b/c of a bonehead lateral on their own 2 yard line after intercepting the ball otherwise we have a running clock and CH finishes that game with 7 points on LVs reserves with a minute left. Definitely not trying to smack talk BM, I just think LV has returned just as much talent if not more and they’re pretty darn close to being just as good as last year on both sides of the ball. They have the talent to go further than last year. Hoping for a good, dry game so we can see the best from both teams!Crushersports wrote:No Elijah Parrish and Collin Smith, Smith dang near beat mccort singlehandedly last year. Ligonier 40 McCort 14, Roger will pull the starters early and allow McCort to score twice late.
